Well isn't that a surprise? With only a month to go before she graduates Momusu, Makochan has been shafted yet again with her graduation ceremony being tacked on to Konkon's ceremony. Yes, with hindsight it's easy to see that this is her last concert too since she's finishing with the musical, & that having the graduation together makes sense, but they still should have announced it so the fans could be prepared. It pretty much describes her entire career with H!P though, so I don't know why I'm surprised. The only plus side is that at least this way her ceremony will definitely be on a DVD (assuming no more scandals until after the release date!) which probably wouldn't have happened if they'd only done a ceremony after the musical, and that wasn't likely anyway. It'll seem rather a let down if they don't do something though... but having her say goodbye this weekend then carry on working for a month is pretty strange too.

From yesterday's morning news clips, Konno got a little coverage, Mako nothing, and Tsuji got the most attention for falling off the stage the day before. It does seem like the graduations are cursed at the moment, and this is the second time Tsuji's been involved (fainting at Nacchi's in 2004 as well). Maybe it's the spirit of Asuka, Aya & Sayaka shocked at what's happened to their group! Or maybe Yuko's behind it all... Actually, the coverage was really short this time - I'm sure in previous years we've seen the comments from 2 or 3 other members at least, but not this time. Again, not surprised with Momusu's popularity levels nowadays.

Also just watched yesterday's Dokyu! Extra covering the concert. Poor Takahashi, she started crying during the rehearsal and then again before the concert. I can't believe they've split the goki kids up... I can't believe they aren't kids anymore, either! God, it feels like only yesterday I was thinking that about the 4ki's, but that's been 2 years now... I must be getting old! Looks like it'll be a pretty good concert and I'm really happy they stuck the Yossi/Reina 'Nature is Good' to fill in for Tsuji's song, but the graduation will be sad to watch since Konno was my second favourite member and Mako pretty high up too. And of course I'm annoyed they split them again and didn't even give the Elder Club a concert or invite them this time so there's no Melon Kinenbi but that's normal too. Looking forward to the DVD anyway.

Time for work again... I really must start updating at other times than when I'm likely to be late for work!
