Feeling sorry  for myself this morning.  The sore throat which started on Tuesday has now progressed to a proper streaming cold, but made worse by the fact I had another nasty nosebleed yesterday (spent at least 20 minutes locked in the toilets at work yesterday afternoon) so not only does my nose keep running, but it also starts bleeding again at the slightest provocation (like sneezing etc).  Okay, enough wallowing in self-pity for now.

In much better news, according to Yahoo! Japan news, Shige's going to be in a dorama special next month!  Happy!  It's called カクレカラクリ (kakurekarakuri?) and will air on 13 September.  From guesswork and the newspaper scan someone posted in news_jpop (the online translators aren't helping much and I'm not awake enough yet to concentrate) it looks like it'll be a mystery?  And Shige's playing a university student (should be easy for him then!) studying astronomy?  Or possibly an astronomy otaku, I'm not quite sure!  Maru's dorama (Meitantei Catherine...) a couple of weeks ago was also a TBS special, so I wonder if it's a series of otherwise unrelated specials or something like that.  Oh, and he's gone back to black hair for it, and looks like the character has a chin piercing too!  Anyway, I'm really happy for Shige and I hope he has a decent part in this... and that the cat's diary (Wagahai...) gets brought back even sooner than the rumours of October; it's not fair for him to be doing an Engimono and a dorama special without getting to tell us all about it, especially with his diary being one of the best ones.  But yay for Shige!  I bet he & Kei are so happy right now ;-)
